“This is my favorite book among all the books I’ve read by Heather Day Gilbert! Every character is so well-developed that I feel as if I know them personally. The story’s plot was expertly crafted. Each time I thought I knew who the killer was, I was mistaken, according to the evidence. I didn’t figure it out, even though I thought I was sure of who it was. So many twists and turns kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time. I loved the secret room and the Agatha Christie series book club. It has inspired me to redo a small room downstairs for a book club my daughter and I host together. I couldn’t put this book down and felt restless when I had to sleep instead of reading.
