Here’s one of my early reviews over there by my loyal reader Shonda!
“This is my favorite book among all the books I’ve read by Heather Day Gilbert! Every character is so well-developed that I feel as if I know them personally. The story’s plot was expertly crafted. Each time I thought I knew who the killer was, I was mistaken, according to the evidence. I didn’t figure it out, even though I thought I was sure of who it was. So many twists and turns kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time. I loved the secret room and the Agatha Christie series book club. It has inspired me to redo a small room downstairs for a book club my daughter and I host together. I couldn’t put this book down and felt restless when I had to sleep instead of reading. Absolutely the best book in every way. Completely clean—no cursing, no gore, just good old-fashioned storytelling at its finest! I can’t wait to read the next book in this series, and I hope there are many, many more to come!”–Shonda, NetGalley reviewer
