Okay…hope you have about five minutes to watch this…then please respond below! I hope you will share my excitement! I couldn’t wait till my regular Monday posting schedule to let you all know!
Oh, Heather. I'm am sooo excited for you! While you talked about CBA's hesitation with Vikings and the timing with the Viking movies about to release, I was nodding with you and agreeing in my spirit. I know you've worked hard on "God's Daughter", and that this is a well thought out and prayer-bathed decision. I. Am. Excited. And praying for you! Can it be November now?
Thanks so much, Gwen! Yes…so much prayer, waiting to see which way to go…and I truly feel so peaceful about this. Thank you for your support, my friend!
Thank you so much, Beth! I feel like I'm finally moving forward, though of course wheels have been in motion for a while. Excellent point–it'll be exciting as more authors go hybrid and we have new genres/time periods to read!
I think that's a great idea. You know I self-published the first novel of my Éire's Viking trilogy years ago, and it was a good deal. I think that you can go with paperback through CreateSpace if you're interested in going that route. You know where I am if you want to send me an ARC. 🙂
I also recommend CreateSpace. Just remember to get a proof copy or two and study them before you hit publish. 🙂 I made a few improvements after seeing mine.Heather, you know what I think of the book. I thoroughly enjoyed reading it and I think folks are going to love it. Good luck! Yay!
Thank you, Graeme–definitely what I was thinking for the POD version of the book. And great idea for getting those proofs FIRST. You know I'll probably have lots of questions along the way…I appreciate your willingness to help navigate me through AND your good opinion of the book!
Strike while the iron is hot, Heather! I'm so happy for you and your exciting decision. I have no doubt you've made the right decision. Give the public what they want! You're beginning an exciting journey and I'm happy to be along for the ride.
I'm so proud of you! That's a tough decision. I'm glad you have peace about it. I'm in a similar situation with my book. It's a hot topic, however getting it traditionally published is proving difficult. I'm struggling though to know if I should self publish. I'll keep praying for you and I'd be honored to help you out. Can't wait to learn more about your journey.
