Today I just wanted to link you up with an older post I did for Medievalists.net, two years ago when God’s Daughter released. Find that post here.
It’s a reminder of why I set about writing the Vikings of the New World Saga. Because misconceptions about Vikings abound (they were dirty, they were nothing but murderers, and the list goes on). As I read over my reviews, I’ve been encouraged by comments like this, that tell me the novel is doing what I hoped it would do:
“So much about the story leads to thoughts on human nature in general and how some things remain the same down through history….including jealousy, greed, and superstition. On the other hand, courage, sacrifice, and love of family are highlighted as well.”~reader review
Hope you enjoy the Medievalists post and don’t forget–if you read and loved God’s Daughter, please be sure to tell your friends and leave a review! It is encouraging for me to see those positive reviews as I write Forest Child.
