Critique Partners–Worth It?

Today, I’m pleased to be a guest blogger on Seriously Write, talking about crit partners for our writing. I hope you get to check it out here: http://seriouslywrite.blogspot.com/2013/03/critical-thinking-by-heather-day-gilbert.html.

And thank you all who checked out my Viking women post on Gina Conkle’s blog–I just saw your comments and responded! I appreciate you! Hope to do a vlog sometime soon on my own blog here!

Great post, Heather! I've heard so many wonderful things about critique partners. I would certainly be open to the idea, if I could find the right person. Thanks for pushing me more toward the idea. 🙂

Jill, I hope you can find one! I don't have a whole lot of time right now, BUT I'm always glad to do query crits, or even first few chapters. Let me know!

What a wealth of experience these talented authors brought to the table for the guests and writers who attended! Also met author @louannkeisereditor, who was a delight to speak with. Then got to hang out with my lifelong friend @rachelcohee and her husband and daughter and brunch @grandbohemianlodgegreenville at the Between the Trees restaurant. Then capped things off at a bookstore that was hopping! What a much-needed time of relaxation with my husband, who graciously schleps my book boxes and takes event photos for me!📚#authorlife #wvauthor
