NEW Hashtag for Christian Indie Authors! #Christindie!

#########################################################################################

Just wanted to share a new tag with all you Christian self-published or hybrid authors: #Christindie. Our Christian indie group decided we need a tag to share relevant self-publishing updates, links, and just have a place to congregate on twitter! Hope you can start using it to share all your self-pub news!

    Good evening, Ms. Gilbert,

I quite literally just found this tag being used on Twitter tonight, and as you said we can use it to help promote Indie Authors who write Christian / Inspirational Fiction I am going to start implementing it in my tweets this week! Esp as I have been blessed with reading either Indie (publisher) or Self Published authors recently! The last book I’ve read is “Chain of Mercy” by Brenda S. Anderson, and it quite literally needs help finding an audience! It is published through Winslet Press and as I am on the Author’s Street Team, finding this tag was created to help sign a ray of light on emerging authors who are ‘Indies’ in this market is quite wicked for me! THANK YOU for creating it! I am a spontaneous hashtag creator myself for authors, and therefore, you have my sincere gratitude!

IF you start to see a heap of lovely book reviews & author guest posts from @JLoveLovesAStory on Twitter, you know its me! That is my book blog’s Twitter feeds!

    In full gratitude,..

Excellent, Jorie! And so glad you found Brenda’s book–it’s on my To-Read list! We do try to tweet all kinds of Christian indie info there!

Happy #WestVirginiaDay! You might know that I love Happy #WestVirginiaDay! You might know that I love setting my contemporary mystery series in my home state of WV. What you might not know is that there was a time I wanted nothing more than to move away and spread my wings (somewhere like NYC! Where I wound up living for a year when I got married!). But years down the road, I felt my mountain roots pulling me back. Suddenly, I could see nothing but beauty in these comforting mountains and moody skies and honeysuckled summers. West Virginia is so many things—good and bad as any state is—but it’s entirely unique. My husband once marveled at how many people “came back” to their home state here, even after being gone for years, and I see that all the time. These #Appalachianmountains have a way about them, and it becomes a part of you, a love you don’t want to let go of. I’m a #mountainmama, and I’m glad to bring this truly #wildandwonderful state to readers with my books.
